There is still a way to promote any character type to any position, but it involves Firebug, a Mozilla Firefox Add On. The most common use of this is probably going to be promoting a maniac to wheelman, use this trick to your fake account to promote your prime maniac account become wheelman, 0 Energy use :D .

Do this Instruction :

  1. Go to, “My mafia”
  2. Click “Promote” for the character you want to promote, your Maniac Jobber
  3. Right Click on the promote button on mastermind
  4. Inspect Element, that’s why you need Firebug
  5. Change word “mastermind” become “wheelman”
  6. Hit the PROMOTE button for mastermind, and bask in your own glory as they are promoted to wheelman – they provide 0% bonus, so promote someone else over them, DO NOT demote them
