PETA’s Complain
On April 22, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) had launched a complain again Zynga about Mafia Wars newest update – Animals. They (PETA) wanted Zynga to remove the Animals update completely as they believe that …perpetuating animals as fighting machines is reckless and wrong. It will lead to more violent against animals. The image of a Pit Bull chained is one of the main concern of PETA.

Zynga’s Response
On the Same day of the complain, Zynga responsed by replacing the image of the Pit Bull with a cute looking one.
On April 24, Zynga released an update on their Fan Page, Animals Update will continue.
