Greetings Mafia Wars Fans,
In a continued effort to protect the game balance for all users, the following energy reduction boosts will be marked as non-gift able as of today.
- Faberge Hen
- Hidden Matryoshka
- Boosted Smoothie
- Inside Tip
- Blueprints
- Fixer
- Chess Master
- Truck Driver
- Problem Solver
- Capuccino
- Free Ride
We understand that many of our users enjoy bilateral gifting and this change may affect their ‘game.’ Our teams are currently reviewing the gifting system and looking for ways to improve the user experience for players that like to gift items. Our removal of these boosts from our gifting list is to protect all users from players who use these items in an unintended manner to gain an unfair advantage over their peers.
If you would like to give us feedback about our gifting system please visit this thread in our developers section: Gifting Feedback
If you consider yourself a market trader that utilizes the gifting system to trade for items please visit this thread in our developers section: Trading Feedback

Well Zynga it looks like you just contradicted yourself! But first please let me remind you that the name of your game is Mafia Wars, not Heavenly Sent, so that maybe you can remind these cry babies “all is fair in love and war, lol especially Mafia Wars”, as long as Zynga rules are not broken, yes, tell them to actually read the rules! What you just accomplished was the opposite of your stated intentions, stopping the trading and/or giving away of boosts among most users just to satisfy the whiners, excuse me, few, who were getting a cut of each deal for doing nothing besides getting a cut of loot! The trading clubs were upset because they were losing control of the value of their loot and people were getting boosts for free. Have you actually read the walls of these clubs and what one has to do to become a member of these clubs, I have and I ignore their invites. Most of these clubs are are out for themselves, hmmm and don’t want anyone stepping on their toes and instead of handling it they went to you and you apparently fell for it. I don’t know which do gooder at Zynga decided the best way to handle this was to stop it but someone, please remind them that this is Mafia and the only ones excited about their decision is the trading clubs and hackers, not the ones giving away/receiving boosts or generating the lower values of the clubs loot.
