Las Vegas District 6 has just hit the streets. And surprisingly enough, it happened exactly as the counter reached 30,000,000 as promised.
The dynamics are generally the same as the other Districts, but with the expected increase in difficulty. Job inventory costs are much steeper, even at Bronze mastery. The “Infiltrate the Hill Resort” job alone requires over 1 million Vegas Chips. So be prepared for a Las Vegas money pit in Vegas. This is nothing that cannot be remedied by having a fully upgraded vault. As an extra precaution, players with their vault already maxed can stash money in other inventory purchases. This is a huge net loss after re-selling them, but it can help as a last resort in some instances. Just do not be to hasty in doing so. And as always, you can always fight for more currency. But between fight loot and the arrival of District 6, expect the fight lists to be scarcely populated for a while.

Mumbai is the fourth Challenge Mission available. The aim is to complete xx jobs for each stage and advance to the next one. Mumbai was release on August 20, 2010. You’re required to get 1 more Mafia Member to enter. The first stage was unlocked on August 22, 2010. Prior to that date, players need to obtain Bollywood Film Reels to complete the missions.

Mafia Wars “Beat The Feds” event starts Friday August 13th and runs for 10 days. You will have 4 different federal agents to beat. Beating them 3 times (Bronze, Silver and Gold levels) will earn you a bonus piece of loot; helpful in Vegas.
The Fed Agent fights are similar to the Boss fights in Vegas. Beating an agent at the Bronze level will earn you a special piece of loot. Beating him again in Silver and Gold will increase the attack and defense of the original item earned.

I decided to write to Zynga myself and see what they had to say about secret stashes being “found” and the persistent posts about programs/bots/tools being used to grab them.
I’ve read replies to others from them regarding this matter. All said the same thing. “It’s a Zynga glitch and has nothing to do with tools/programs/bots.” But I wanted one so I could get a screen shot once and for all.
So imagine my surprise.
My letter to Zynga (emphasis mine):
RE: Secret stashes
My mafia members post secret stashes on my wall. (The loot found during fighting.) When I click on “Open Secret Reward” on the post, I usually get this message on my MW page: “This stash has already been found. Fight another mafia now to find your own.”
I’ve been told the secret stashes are being stolen by a tool called “snag bar” which is available through Gamers Unite. I’ve also been told there’s a program that steals the loot. And I’ve been told your own FV loot snag tool can be manipulated to steal these items from MW.
Furthermore, I’ve been told that there are bots that automatically steal this loot from my feed.
I’d like to know two things — why am I getting these messages about the stashes being found already, and what are you going to do about it other than having your game developers “work on it/ look into it”? This has been going on for a while, and I’ve lost a LOT of nice weapons/vehicles/armor because of it.
Or is there really a tool/program/bot/internet kleptomaniac fairy stealing my stuff? I would like to buy things in order to strengthen, but these messages are a constant reminder as to why I shouldn’t invest real money in MW. If I can’t get the free stuff, I doubt I’ll be able to get the paid-for stuff.
